Hi, I’m Wesley Farnsworth, and for much of my life, I was living a story I didn’t fully understand.

On the surface, I had all the pieces in place. I was a pastor’s kid who grew up in the church, knew the right Scriptures, said the right things, and learned how to be the guy people could depend on. But beneath the surface, I was hiding, struggling with shame, addiction, co-dependency, anger, and an overwhelming sense of not being enough. Like many people, I had learned how to perform but not how to heal. I was walking around wounded, disconnected, and afraid to be truly known.

Sadly, I didn’t realize it at the time. It wasn’t until my marriage hit a breaking point and I came face-to-face with my brokenness that I finally stopped pretending. What followed wasn’t easy; it involved counseling, accountability, honest conversations, confession, and a whole lot of grace. But that season changed everything. That’s when the real story began.

I created The Blueprint of Becoming not just as a book, but as a companion for anyone who has ever felt stuck between who they’re and who they’re called to be. It’s a mix of real testimony, biblical wisdom, and practical tools for personal transformation. Whether you’re dealing with addiction, emotional wounds, spiritual burnout, or just that nagging feeling that life was meant to be more, this book is for you.

My heart is for the strugglers and the seekers—the men and women who are tired of faking it and hungry for something real. I believe with all my soul that God can take broken people and build something beautiful. Not just once, but repeatedly. That’s what becoming is, it’s a lifelong process of aligning with God’s truth, surrendering what’s holding us back, and walking forward one faithful step at a time.

My Background

Professionally, I’ve spent over 16 years as a photographer and storyteller for the United Sates Air Force and in the private sector. My career has taken me from high-profile events like presidential inaugurations and professional sports to war zones and weddings. Every image I captured told a story, but what I eventually realized is that I was also being prepared to help others discover their own.

I also hold two master’s degrees, one in business branding and one in internet marketing. I’ve always been fascinated by how messages move people, how visuals can evoke emotion, and how clear identity creates meaningful connection. I now use that background to help ministries, churches, and creatives communicate with purpose and authenticity.

Where You’ll Find Me Now

Today, I do my best to live what I teach. I’m actively involved in Celebrate Recovery, where I continue to walk in accountability, community, and growth. I’m also now available to speak at churches, small groups, men’s retreats, and recovery ministries, sharing the message that no one is too far gone and that change is always possible when we surrender to God’s plan.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to help others discover their God-given blueprint and walk in it. Whether that happens through a book, a conversation, a project, or a prayer, I count it a privilege to be a part of someone else’s becoming.

If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or like you’ve disqualified yourself from God’s best, I just want you to know: you haven’t. You’re not too far gone. You’re not too broken. I see you and you’re exactly the kind of person God specializes in redeeming.

Let’s walk it out together.
